It is absolutely horrifying that “friends” will stand up for another “friend” when they have committed something so awful. If one of my friends drank and drove and hit someone else that was completely sober, I would not be supporting them for their awful mistake.
Yes, I’d be so happy that they survived, but if you can do something in that state of mind, you can deal with the consequences. I’m glad you made it through recovery & that you survived, along with the people that you hit, but I will say this the nicest way I can… you have everything you deserve coming to you.
